We are proud to have successfully hosted a collaborative meeting alongside GIZ, bringing together key stakeholders in the transport and logistics sector.
Our focus was on the industry and the VET toolbox initiative aimed at empowering delivery riders with skills to thrive in the industry and the Nigerian economy at large.
GIZ showcased the VET Toolbox platform's global impact and how it can benefit the Nigerian market.
A fishbowl exercise was carried out to enable stakeholders share their key takeaways and how they can integrate the VET Toolbox to improve their services. Participants also shared valuable insights and experiences and advocated for greater collaboration within the industry.
Furthermore, the participants suggested the localisation of the VET Toolbox to suit the environment which they currently operate in. A steering committee was established to further drive collaboration among stakeholders, to elevate productivity and foster community-led actions.
