The Business Support Unit of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund aims to foster an ecosystem of growth-oriented enterprises by strengthening the institutional capacity of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Lagos State. In achieving its mandate, the unit provides:
- Capacity Building and MSME Training Sessions
These are physical and virtual sessions curated to educate MSMEs and improve their systems, structure, and people management. These sessions cover diverse topics that cater to the needs of MSMEs.
- Business Advisory Sessions
These sessions are facilitated in partnership with private organizations to provide bespoke advisory to business owners on financial management, legal and human resources practices.
- Access to Market
Our Access-to-Market initiative, also known as the LSETF Marketplace, provides a platform for businesses to meet potential clients and customers at strategic events, such as exhibitions and trade fairs.
Through this initiative, businesses can form meaningful connections that increase their visibility and opportunities to collaborate and expand.
- Business Incubation and Acceleration
We provide early-stage enterprises with resources, knowledge sharing sessions, investment and networking opportunities to improve their chances of success in the rapidly evolving world of business.
- Business Registration Support
We facilitate the formalization of MSMEs by aiding their registration processes. Our goal is to enhance their credibility, strengthen their structure and sustainability, and ease their access to opportunities.
