The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund joined various organisations at the Africa Social Impact Summit 2023, themed "Global Vision, Local Action: Repositioning the African Development Ecosystem for Sustainable Outcomes".
The two-day event, powered by Sterling One Foundation and the United Nations Nigeria, brought together organisations and leaders from the private, public sectors and civil society organisations to discuss innovative and sustainable solutions to Africa's developmental challenges.
We had a rewarding time engaging with attendees at our designated booth, initiating potential partnerships, responding to inquiries and telling our stories of impact.
We were thrilled to contribute to a conversation on the labour market and strategies to strengthen skill development initiatives at a plenary session moderated by Sheila Ojei (Director, Strategy, Funding and Stakeholder Management, LSETF) with contributions from Omokaro Unuakpor (Head, Product Development, LSETF), representative from UNDP and other donor agencies.
Furthermore, we had some of our beneficiaries at this gathering, establishing connections for meaningful collaboration.
